Strange things had been brewing in the castle and they were only getting stranger.  Potter and Riddle were supposedly together as were his idiot brother and his cousin, but he had seen Draco duck into no more than five places pulling the younger girl along behind him. He had watched him pull the girl into an empty classroom and after waiting for roughly ten minutes or so it was obvious either one wasn't coming back out any time soon, so he continued on filing it all away for another day.  

Obviously he wanted nothing more to go to his brother with all of this information, even if he didn't deserve the heads up.  But he wanted to make sure he had enough proof because otherwise all it would do is drive his brother away further. Now he was sure he had enough information to take to him.

Luca hated how things had gotten between them and it was not any one thing that had started the separation even though things had been strained between them for years.  He missed the carefree years of his childhood, when his brother was his best friend and confidant, but those years were long gone.  Now they could barely stand to look at each other and be in the same room for more than five minutes.  It disappointed him more than he would ever let on though.

Seeing the dock was empty he let out a relieved sigh, he needed some space, some time to gather his thoughts.  Because sooner rather than later he was going to have to come clean about every thing that he knew and he needed to have a coherent plan about how to do so.  So, dropping down mid dock, he crossed his legs and dropped his school bag down beside him, digging into it for a bit of parchment and something to write with.   Quickly he began to write, losing himself in just getting everything out.

Tristan was on her afternoon jog and she found herself by the boathouse/ She watched as someone went inside and her curiosity got the best of her. She followed the boy inside and stayed quiet so not to make her presence known. When he began writing, he seemed upset, even angry. The way he scribbled the words down made his tension known. So, she decided to make it known that she was there, "Whatcha got there?" She asked happily. She smiled and pulled her hair out of her face. He seemed to be a few years older than her, perhaps a year or two. He certainly wasnt a teacher, Tris knew that for sure. He appeared to be a Slytherin based off of the Green emblem of a snake on his robes. "I'm Tristan by the way. Tristan Lycanthe. But you can call me Tris. Everyone does."

Tugging on his tie Leyton scowled as he walked out of the Great Hall without even eating, it had been almost three days now and he had yet to eat a full meal, barely managing to choke down a bite here or there. The stress and the guilt was beginning to take its toll on him, showing on his face and with his posture. Gage had broken something inside of him, triggering emotions he had kept tightly in a cage for the better part of seven years now. It had taken its toll on him but he had always managed to keep it under control. Now he could not say that was true.

Without even truly seeing where he was going he ended up at the boathouse somehow and narrowing his eyes he was surprised to see his brother and some girl. She didn't see quite his type but these days he barely knew his brother so who knew exactly what type of girl he was in to these days. He really was not in a people type of mood, especially if one of the people currently in range was his own flesh and blood.

Turning on his heel he was just about to head back up into the castle when his brother pushed up off of the dock and started towards him. There wasn't much he had to say to Luca so he could not imagine what his brother could possibly have to say to him. Leyton could not remember the last actual conversation the two boys had had but it had been some months to say the least. Shifting back around he raised a brow at his brother.

"Whatever you have to say make it quick because I have things to do this evening."

Lost in his writing he did not hear the footsteps of the girl until she was nearly on top of him and clapping his book shut with a thump he quickly tucked it back in his bag as he stared up at the younger girl. He vaguely recognized her to be in Ravenclaw, a house in which he had very little associations.

Just as he was about to respond to her he saw Leyton coming down from the castle and he knew that he needed to take this chance while he had it. His brother was prone to ignoring him and avoiding him so he had to make his move quick.

"You'll have to excuse me Lycanthe, I need to have a private word with my brother."

Giving the girl a swift nod he pushed up off of the aged wood of the dock and made his way up the way towards his brother. He was not surprised by the tone of his brothers voice nor by the look on his face. Honestly he hadn't seen his brother look this bad in years as he was a master of bottling things
up until they exploded forth.

The most people usually got out of him was a scowl. This was different though and he could tell that there was much more going on than even the Draco situation. Feeling just a tad bit guilty even though he had no reason to.

"Yeah, yeah always in rush. Well believe me when I tell you this you might actually be grateful for once in your miserable life."

Crossing his arms over his chest he blew out a deep breath knowing there was no sense in prolonging the inevitable. "Ok, so. I know things between you and Draco haven't been perfect and do not even try to lie to me and say they have been, now I know the reason why. I've seen him and Riddle ducking in and out of more empty classrooms than I can count and we both know they wouldn't be studying."

Pausing he tried to let every thing he had just said sink in before he continued on."We both know I have no reason to lie to you so I hope you will take what I said to heart."

As Leyton stood there ignoring the girl farther down the dock he gave his brother a look of boredom as he said he was always in a rush. It wasn't that, it was that he had nothing in common with his brother anymore and nothing would change that fact that things would always be this way between them. Nearly mirroring his brother's stance it was frightening how alike they were without even consciously trying. In reality each brother wanted nothing more deep down then to be like they were when they were children, but both were too pigheaded and stubborn to ever give in.

Listening to his brother speak he felt something break deep down inside of him. Leyton knew that this was coming but now it actually meant that he had to face the truth and accept it. Focusing on maintaining the wall he had so carefully built he tried to hold it all in. But it was crashing, crashing hard. This on top of everything that had already happened that week was just enough to crack him the rest of the way.

Turning on his heel he took off running, ignoring his brothers pleading to come back and discuss things rationally like two adults. Leyton wanted no part of it, he wanted to forget everything, forget he existed and most of all he wanted nothing to do with this forsaken school anymore. Heading into the school, he ignored the looks and the whispers. Finally as he neared the common room he slowed down and headed straight for the dorms.
