Family:
Clary was born to a muggle couple, Luke and Katherine Wittfield, in a small village just outside of London England on a cold and windy Halloween at 8:30 in the evening.   They had planned on taking Jace trick or treating that night but when her mother's water broke they knew that Clary was planning on making her entrance to the world, albeit two weeks early.   So it was with that she made her debut.  
Clary grew up in a small house in the country with her parents, her brother Jace (who is seven years older than her and will be starting his first year of university) and her dogs Monkey, Peanut and Niko, and the cats Kiki, Mittens and Mops.  They also had chickens and pigs running about the small farm.

Her father was born and raised on the same property were they all currently lived and her mother was born in the south of France and moved to England at the age of eight.   Now they both work in the pub that her father's family has owned for generations in Buckinghamshire.   Her father cooks and tends bar while her mother serves.  

As far as they both know there has been no traces of magic in their family,  but they were quite surprised to learn just how different their daughter was after she made strange things happen to the neighbors cat.  They were all too happy to send their daughter off to Hogwarts where hopefully she would learn to control the gift that she had been given.  

Personal: (Minimum of 250 words)
Clary since birth has always been a rather easy going child.  When she was an infant she rarely fussed or cried, something everyone always remarked on.  She was simply content to sit and stare at the world around her.  

With her brother being of school age when she was born she was often carted off to the pub with her parents while they worked and she was looked over by all of the staff. Once she was old enough to walk though it was a different story . Her inquisitive nature had her getting into every thing that she could put her hands on and Clary never seemed to meet a stranger as she was friendly and lovable to every person she came across.

Once she hit school age nothing changed.  She made friends easily with the other girls and some of the boys.  Clary hated the rest though, as her teachers would slowly learn of her anxiety that would develop during each test.   If they tested her alone in a room by herself she would do just fine, but placed with her peers she would fail every test.    Not knowing what to make of it, she would struggle for the next few years, always narrowly scraping by good enough marks to make it to the next year.

Clary hopes that the new school will allow her to flourish with her peers and put her back on a more even footing with others.
