Why was so much happening in such short time this year? Ginny felt like they’d just gotten started on the year yet already she was in a relationship with a guy who was never supposed to be in a ‘relationship’ in his school life, her best friend had started dating a Slytherin, she was quickly becoming best friends with said Slytherin female, and her brother was Merlin knew where doing Merlin knew what. Oh, and Hermione had confessed to having a crush on Harry and hadn’t spoken to her since that horrible Truth or Dare game.

”So, Draco really slept with his cousin?” she murmured for about the third time. She was lying on the shore of the black lake with her Slytherin friend, trying to catch up on all that had happened. It was the weekend after Hogsmeade and the ‘epic breakup of the Slytherins’ and the two were finally catching up. It seemed Sky had been through a lot, and Ginny was feeling a bit guilty for not hounding the girl more often.

She’d been so damn caught up with her boyfriend that she didn’t realize how much her friend was being harassed. Good thing Draco Malfoy was proving to actually be a decent guy. Once he got past the prat exterior that was. ”I guess that isn’t so strange for a Pureblood. I mean… I’m pretty sure there are married cousins in my family. We just don’t really point that out.” she shrugged, concluding that that bit wasn’t so bad now that she’d worked it all out. The whole ‘Leyton being a guy’ thing never even struck her as a problem, so that was pretty much done in her mind.

Ginny moved on to her next concern rather quickly, looking Sky in the eyes with determination. ”Obviously I’ve seen the arm in classes when you had to roll up your sleeve, but what about the rest. I know that isn’t all the pug did to you. I swear I’ll bloody kill her, Sky. Nobody fucks with me and my friends.” Honestly, the youngest Weasley was rather terrifying when angry. Her magic was sparking in the tips of her hair and she had to take deep breaths to calm herself. Perhaps a lighter topic would be good.

Once she’d seen the damage done and let Sky know that they really didn’t look too bad now, the healing had definitely worked wonderfully, she rolled onto her back and looked into the cloudy sky. ”So um… you know the night of the party? Um… I didn’t go back to my dorm that night. I kinda went to a classroom with Riley and um…” she blushed and covered her face with her hands before she muttered really quickly, ”Ilostmyvirginity!”

Constant Catch-Up (Sky) Empty
PostSubject: Re: Constant Catch-Up (Sky)   Constant Catch-Up (Sky) Icon_minitimeFri Feb 28, 2014 2:20 am

Things were really getting...out of control lately. Skyler had somehow gone from dating the Ice Prince of Slytherin to Gryffindor's Golden Boy, and that was probably the easiest problem she had faced. Thankfully, Ginny had decided it was time to play catch up with each other, and the brunette couldn't have agreed more. The two had barely gotten a chance to really spend time together, and that was probably mostly Sky's fault. Between things with Draco, school, meetings in the bloody forest, things with Harry, and Quidditch, life had been such a whirlwind lately that she honestly didn't know how she was still on her own two feet.

Then there was everything in between all of that. Like helping the Head Boy and Girl, learning new healing spells, Parkinson's revenge...the list was never ending. So to be laying on the shore of the Black Lake with the red head was almost like a vacation. Except, of course, Ginny had about a million questions, and the Gryffindor wasn't exactly one to give up when she wanted answers. Knowing it would be useless to try and evade them, the Slytherin sighed mock annoyed and began to provide answers and information.

She had shrugged at the Draco thing, once her red headed friend had taken in all the information about it and finally commented. To be honest, it didn't bother her one bit, whether they were cousins or not. Or that they were both male. Draco was her Pic, and Skyler just wanted to see him happy, and had taken to cursing anyone who tried to take it away from the two older boys by being immature about the entire thing. "Yea, I'm not worried about it. Drake's happy, and so is Leyski, and that's all that really matters about that."

She didn't really have much else to say on the subject, so she let it drop. Groaning, she suddenly wished she had more things to say about the Draco/Leyton thing, because now Ginny was giving her that 'look' and bringing up the scars. And her bloody hair was crackling with magic. This was so not a good subject for either of them to be on, because the pair of them out of control angry wasn't good for anyone's health, including their own. "You will not kill her. But don't worry. It's being dealt with." Sky assured her friend, purple eyes adopting that dark glint that they had picked up more often lately.

But somehow, and Sky wasn't sure entirely how, but somehow, the red head had managed to convince her to see the damage done. After glaring and refusing for the first few minutes hadn't worked, and the whining started, the brunette caved. Merlin!! Draco was bad enough with the whining. Sky couldn't take Ginny doing it too. The Gryffindor reassured her that they didn't look so bad, to which the teen rolled her eyes, shooting the red head an icy glare for good measure.

Now they were both lying on their backs, and Ginny was rambling and nearly stammering about how and Riley Caldwell hadn't gone straight to their dorms but instead had taken a detour to a random classroom. The implications weren't hard to miss, and Skyler grinned in amusement before her friend even got the words out. The fact that the Gryffindor had given herself to someone wasn't what was funny. It was the way the normally brash and brazen girl was hiding her face behind her hands that was amusing Sky. "You realize I was there to witness you orgasm on his lap right? I kind of figured that if it hadn't already happened it would after that show."

The Slytherin teased her friend lightly, and good-naturedly. It was true for the most part. Sky hadn't exactly pegged Ginny for a virgin, but it wasn't like she thought her friend was slutty. Sky hadn't exactly been happy with the Gryffindor immediately following that party, but she had gotten over it and now she understood Ginny a bit better. Something she was really glad for, because the red head was pretty damn irreplaceable in her life now. Grinning like a loon over at her friend, Sky couldn't help it. "Well? How was it? The crowd is dying to know here."

Ginny at least had the sense to blush when her friend mentioned the show she’d put on at that party. She really had let herself get carried away. At the time, she hadn’t felt remorse for her behavior, but now… Now she was thankful she hadn’t managed to lose her best friends.

The Gryffindor pushed those thoughts to the side and focused instead on her Slytherin friend’s question. Details? She actually wanted to know how it had gone with Riley? Ginny was so used to Hermione who blushed and made her stop talking before she could even describe a snog or Lavender or the mini-Parvati in her own year who glared at her with jealousy written clearly on their faces. Never had Ginny actually experienced a girl wanting to know about her love life.

Well, Luna had asked before, but she’d gone on about some ‘spragnats’ or something that tried to sneak into lovers’ lips and Ginny had vowed never to talk romance with the Ravenclaw again.

Either way, it was a first for the redhead and she was beyond excited to tell Sky how it had gone. ”Oh, it was absolutely wonderful! First, I danced for him. Kind of like during the game, but I didn’t touch him. I just peeled my clothes off and watched him squirm. It was such a power trip! You totally have to try a strip tease some time on Harry. He’ll go mad with need!”

She squealed at the memory, quite proud of herself. ”Then, when I told him I really was a virgin, I thought he was going to explode in his pants. It was so great. He was so worried about making it perfect, too. Like, seriously? I’m Ginny Bloody Weasley! An abandoned classroom after the most confusing night of my life is bloody fantastic!” She laughed happily, knowing the Slytherin would understand. ”Oh Merlin’s hairy sac, Sky, he used his mouth and it was incredible.”

With a dreamy smile on her face, Ginny rolled onto her stomach and sighed. ”Of course we did the actual sexing, too. And it didn’t even hurt, really. It was just… great.” She felt like she’d just told an obnoxiously long story about her devirginization and it seemed like an awkward subject, so Ginny cleared her throat and gave Sky a pointed look. ”Alright, your turn. Have you and Harry… you know, yet?” she asked with a quirked brow and a devious smile.

PostSubject: Re: Constant Catch-Up (Sky)   Constant Catch-Up (Sky) Icon_minitimeThu Mar 06, 2014 7:52 pm

Apparently, asking for details and such was a good thing, if her friend's excitement to spill the proverbial beans was anything to go by. This had Skyler looking quite amused, but she also showed her interest and curiosity about the situation in those vibrant eyes of hers. The brunette had never really had friends, much less such good ones. And before getting to Hogwarts, the teen had never partaken in what could only be referred to as 'girl talk'.

Though if she had to choose someone to do it with, Sky would pick Ginny every time. The red head had knack for making things a lot less girly, something the Slytherin truly appreciated, because she was convinced there wasn't a girly bone in her body. Except for the ones that were supposed to be there of course. After all, she was a girl. She just didn't like being treated as or looked upon as some frail, breakable, pansy princess or anything. That wasn't too much to ask. Especially not of Ginny, who seemed to share the same frame of mind.

At the same time though, the Slytherin was at a loss of how exactly to react to what she was hearing. Was there a specific reaction for this type of situation? She was sure there probably was. Why didn't they teach useful things like what to say and do in situations like this anyways? It was far more helpful than whatever Professor Binns was teaching about. Something the brunette had no clue about because she was usually completing essays for other classes in that one.

Skyler settled for a knowing smirk, amusement springing to her eyes as the Gryffindor told her about how it had happened and what she had done and thought throughout the 'getting it on' process. So far she had been told that it was incredible, which the brunette was happy for on her friend's behalf. It would suck to have a sucky first time, after all. She was also told about how the red head had performed another strip tease for Riley, and then promptly told that she should try one herself on Harry.

A small amount of pink tinged her cheeks at that, and Sky rolled her eyes at her friend goodnaturedly. Before she could even think of a reply though, or really figure out if her own stripping of her clothes had really been a tease or not, Ginny was squealing, with a look that clearly showed she was quite pleased with herself about her actions. The brunette couldn't help but grin. Only the red head would be so utterly proud of the fact that she had nearly driven her boyfriend mad with need, and apparently almost made him shoot in his pants.

The teen couldn't help but snort at that, and gave her friend a look that clearly said, 'I could totally see that happening too', and her wide, knowing smirk answered her friend's laugh about how the Ravenclaw Prefect had apparently been worried about making the Gryffindor's first time perfect. Secretly, Sky was pleased about that. Just because she was rather new to these parts didn't mean the boy's reputation hadn't reached her own ears. The brunette had originally been a bit worried about her friend getting so involved with Riley, but it was clear now that he had good intentions toward her friend. At the very least, Skyler knew the red head would have appreciated his thought and concern about the matter.

Though even the Slytherin couldn't imagine the Gryffindor wanting the romantic setting of rose petals and lot candles. Just the idea made Sky want to gag, but she thankfully held it back. All in all, it was quote the tale and the brunette was pleased that her friend's first time had been just as pleasurable and perfect for her as she deserved to have it be. And the teen said as much too, with a grin on her face that was far from any kind of annoyed or irritated. If anything, it might have been amused, because of the dreamy dumb look her friend now had on her face, and understanding, because Sky was sure she got that same dreamy dumb look on her face at times.

"So first, you're going to tell me exactly which classroom this took place in so I can avoid it at all costs." The Prefect demanded teasingly, the playful look in her eyes clear. "And secondly," Sky paused, letting her teasing grin morph into a genuinely happy one for her friend, "it sounds like it was perfect to me, and I'm glad it was, for you, you know? I mean, you deserve a good first time and all." The brunette wasn't sure that came out quite right, and ended a bit unsurely. It sounded like it was missing something though, so she added on, in true Skyler fashion and with her trademark smirk. "Although, now that you're having sex, I think Draco and Leyton might have competition as far as being Hogwarts' resident bunnies goes."

The teen couldn't help but tease her friend lightly, and it was clear she didn't mean any harm by the comment. "In fact, remind me to give you my rounds schedule, that way I never have to check an empty classroom to find you and Riley in it." Sky nodded, but her smirk and amused, dancing eyes gave her away as anything but serious. And then, the spotlight was on her, and she cursed herself for not seeing it coming. Ginny always turned things around on her at the drop of a hat.

How did one tell a best friend that they had sex with that person's best friend on their common room floor anyways? Skyler was certain there some kind of protocol or etiquette for this. There had to be. Unfortunately, she knew she couldn't really lie, even as she tried. "Umm...noo?" The brunette attempted with a hopeful smile, but the Gryffindor's look told her she wasn't buying it. Damn. She really needed to work on the whole innocent act. This was getting ridiculous.

Huffing and putting on a glare just for good measure, Sky decided to make the best of it, because she knew without a doubt there was no way Ginny was going to let it go. Damn Gryffindors. How did they always know when she was lying anyways? "Nope. We haven't. We totally didn't have sex on the floor of your common room. Which is completely horrid by the way, with all that red. And it totally wasn't because Bolt apparently has no patience. Or because he thinks when I say wand I mean wand. Not able to help herself, Skyler flashed a ridiculously innocent grin. "No idea where he would get that idea either."

”Um, well, you see…” she trailed with a foolish grin on her face. ”I don’t really know which room we were in. It was pretty dark and I was a little tipsy and um… yeah.” Ginny couldn’t help but laugh a bit, remembering how little she’d paid attention to details like where they were when Riley was making her scream.

She had to roll her eyes when the Slytherin girl mentioned giving her a calendar of her rounds schedule. Ginny didn’t exactly plan on anyone catching her and her boyfriend out and about, especially in such situations as they were that night. That reminded her of something she hadn’t mentioned to her fellow fifth year. ”I don’t think I’ll have to be sneaking around like that with my boyfriend anyway, Sky,” she said with a big grin, figuring the girl would pick up on the use of the term. Gin was quite proud of the fact that they had finally given each other titles. Not calling Riley her boyfriend had been harder than she’d imagined.

Feet kicking playfully in the air, the redhead quirked a brow as Sky denied having sex with Harry in the common room. Now why would she be so specific in her denial? Ginny rolled her eyes and laughed. ”Sure you didn’t, silly. Wanna tell me what surfaces I should avoid touching then?” She laughed again, rolling around on the shore of the lake without much of a care. Things were actually settling down, it seemed, and she was really quite happy.

[color=#996699]”I thought we always meant wand when we talked about a guy’s wand…”[/colo] she mumbled thoughtfully. ”It sounds like Harry managed to talk to Fred at some point about certain… things at least. I’m pretty sure he was terrified he’d mess up the first time somehow. I don’t really know how he would ‘mess up,’ but I think his um… unnatural endowment made him a bit overly worried. He was probably quite proud of himself if it was as good as I’m guessing based on your face.”

Gin wiggled her brows at her friend, then burst out laughing again. She was really happy for her friends. A little bit of teasing was a must from her, though. Without poking fun, she just wouldn’t be Ginny Weasley, after all!

"Uh huh. Sounds more like the mark of a very good time than the mark of being a bit tipsy and dark." Skyler teased her friend with a knowing smirk, wriggling her dark brows at the red head. Though she was being playful, and ended with a small laugh. It was kind of odd, to be sitting there, or laying there as it was, and be talking about this kind of stuff so...carefree like. A lot of things had changed since the brunette had come to Hogwarts, and she was pleased to note that Ginny being her friend was one of the better things.

Of course, the teen wasn't quite sure if it was normal or not to be discussing your sex life of all things with other people. The Slytherin had always just assumed that sort of thing should be kept rather private. Then again, Ginny was rapidly becoming one of Sky's best friends, and it seemed natural to share some of the things going on in life with the Gryffindor witch. She supposed it must have felt the same for her friend, because Ginny hadn't needed a lot of push to reveal the fact that she was no longer a virgin, and had given up said virginity to Riley. Who apparently was now officially the girl's boyfriend.

"Well about time!! I was wondering if the official terms would ever be used." She remarked playfully again, but there was a happy grin settling on her lips that said she was happy for her friend. And she really was. It was good to see the red head so pleased and happy, and Sky really did want all her friends happy. Everyone deserved to have happiness. Of course, it always came with a bit of a price. Sometimes it was just hard to see if that price was worth it, or if one could afford it.

The Slytherin tried really hard to fight back the blush as the spotlight was now on her experience with Harry. Her first reaction was to roll her eyes, though she did rub at the back of her neck in the tell tale sign of her nervousness as she have a sheepish look to her friend. "Erm..just the floor, I guess.." Ok. So rule number one. Girl talk was best when the tables didn't turn on her. She needed to write that down somewhere so she wouldn't forget it. And figure out a way to make sure her friend didn't manage to turn the tables on her the next time they had a talk.

For the time being, she rolled her purple eyes again and snorted, dropping her head back on the ground and closing her eyes as a smirk curled her lips. "If Bolt was worried about anything, he certainly didn't seem it at the time. I think he was more concerned with winning whatever game we were playing at the time. Everything is a game between us, or a challenge at the least. It's very..arousing." She commented admittedly, a slight tinge of ping on her cheeks as she shrugged.

Well, it sounded like Harry had figured things out pretty well. That made Ginny grin happily even as she enjoyed her friend’s excitement over her title-having with the bird boy who had stolen her heart. It seemed both girls were having a pretty good year so far, as far as their love lives went, and the rest… well, Ginny didn’t want to focus on that stuff. She knew things weren’t going to stay so calm for long, and it honestly scared her a bit, but she didn’t want to dwell on the potential negativity that was to come.

No, now it was time to focus on being teenagers and having fun and doing things that would probably get them into trouble, but doing them anyway because what was life without a few detentions? She was still grinning happily as she sighed, watching as every now and then the squid raised a tentacle to splash at the water. ”Well, I’m glad you two have a system. I can definitely relate to the arousing nature of little competitions…”

Ginny’s mind wandered to the first real date she had with Riley, when they’d played paintball and she’d earned a good few bruises. That was so much better than any romantic dinner, as far as she was concerned, and it was definitely something she’d never forget.

”You know, I don’t care how crazy our lives might soon become, or already are without us even knowing fully… I think we’re doing pretty well. Just gotta survive whatever crazy is coming, and we’ve got it made!” She laughed lightly and closed her eyes, sighing into the gentle breeze. It was nice being by the lake like this. Relaxing. Enjoying the simple chatter of everyday life.

Soon they’d have to go back in to the real world and worry about things like homework and exams and murderous uncles. But for now, they could keep chattering on about simpler things like boys and growing up. Everyone needed a little bit of frivolous conversation in their life, after all.
