| Merlin’s hairy balls and everything else unholy, what the hell was happening with her lions? Ron looked like a damned fool, Harry was distracted enough to get hit with a bludger in the gut. Hard. And then there was the crazy beater chick who luckily took Zabini out for a bit, but Ginny was still weary to get too close to the loon with the bat. She didn’t want her own teammate managing to hit her and knock her out of the game.
Ginny grabbed the quaffle when Zabini was hit, streaking toward the Slytherin hoops and barely missing an impact with Harry. Jeez, if that boy didn’t get his head in the damned game she was going to kick his arse! He was so distracted by his girlfriend that she was sure he was going to do something stupid. Well, more stupid than taking a bludger to the gut. And that would simply not do.
Obviously both seekers had seen the snitch, and while they dove, Ginny took her chance at the hoops. Hopefully the skilled Slytherin Keeper was distracted by his team’s Seeker nearly plummeting to her death and would miss the hefty toss toward the right-most hoop. She kept up a mantra in her head of ‘please go in, please go in’ as she let the quaffle fly.
If Gryffindor didn’t get their act together they’d be losing by a lot more than ten pretty soon. Gin didn’t know what all she could do to save this game, but Merlin she was going to try her damndest. If that meant she had to claw the quaffle right out of the Slytherin chasers’ fingers, well, they picked the wrong redhead to go against! She was not going to let her house down!

| Orion had played a lot of Quidditch in his time at Hogwarts, and plenty of them had been against Gryffindor. The rivalry between the two houses always made for intense games, but this one took the cake. The beaters were being ruthless, especially Malfoy, except he seemed to be concentrating most of his anger towards the Gryffindor Seeker. In fact, Orion hadn't seen the blonde smack a bludger at anyone but Potter.
Meanwhile, the Gryffindor beaters were aiming at their best players, and Blaise took a mean hit that the boy was sure would take some recovery time. If he wasn't careful and paying attention Orion knew he would be next. So the Slytherin Keeper kept his blue eyes sharp, determined to not get caught off guard by anything.
He saw Potter take off and not a second later Slytherin's own seeker shot through the very center of the game after him. He smirked. She had guts that one, he would give her that. Soon the two seekers were neck and neck in an obvious chase for the snitch and Orion could practically feel the crowd holding it's breath.
Unfortunately, he couldn't finish watching because the Weaselette was tearing down the pitch toward, and she was going at a pace he thought her head was on fire. It took him a second to realize that it was just her hair. Merlin the witch looked like bloody she devil/harpy hybrid as she came up on him to try for a score, and Orion, who had been circling just like before, saw the direction she tossed it and dove to intercept the quaffle before it could make it through his right hoop. |

| When the quaffle went into its hard dive, Harry was forced to hang back. There was only room for one of them in that dive, and while he might have simply knocked another Seeker out of the air to get the proper position, he was not going to do that to Sky. She could hate him if she wanted to, but this match was not a good enough reason for someone to die, girlfriend or not.
So yeah, he pulled up early, back into the traffic of the match, and watched her incredibly impressive dive. He wasn’t entirely sure that he could even pull that clean and hard of a dive. He also wasn’t sure his broom could. He couldn’t stop himself from letting out a loud whistle of appreciation. If there was anyone in the castle that could actually beat him in a fair match, it was his Impossible witch. That meant that he needed to work harder to give her a fairer game going forward.
As the snitch escaped from her, flying around a Gryffindor beater and disappearing again, he made sure that he was gaining altitude right next to his girlfriend. As he did, he pulled his broom sharply towards her, giving her a small but rough bump to show that from this point on, he was flying hard, and if he needed to knock her out of the air in order to win, he would probably be able to do that.
As they reached a better height for searching, he took the time to shoot her a cheeky grin. “Bring it on,” he challenged, then streaked away from her to find the golden ball again. |

| Hooch hears the opposing team swearing and calls a foul for unsportsmanlike conduct. Free penalty shot to your team. Congratulations Harry Potter. You've enacted Unsportsmanlike Conduct. |

| It was actually rather surprising when the Slytherins were called on swearing, considering Ginny had just let out a great roar of a swear her mum would beat her with a broom for when Ramellien stopped her from scoring a second time. Oh well. She’d take it. If she missed this, though, she’d jump off her damn broom and put herself out of her misery.
The fiery redhead pointedly ignored everyone else, especially the jeering snakes. They were pissed, and understandably so, considering most had probably heard her outburst. Oh well. Served them right for all the years of cheating they’d gotten away with. Ginny grinned as she took off toward the enemy hoops, quaffle tucked under her arm. It seemed the Slytherins weren’t above sneaking in a bit of cheap shots, though, as a bludger barely missed her leg.
Good thing for them Hooch was distracted or they’d be paying again. Damn snakes. Dirty little cheaters is what they were. When she reached the hoops, Ginny glared at the Slytherin Keeper as she took her free shot. If that ball somehow managed to catch the wing wrong and miss, she would seriously take a plunge toward the pitch. Screw it. At least if she was passed out she wouldn’t have to watch Malfoy kill her best friend or her brother utterly fail any longer. Yep. If she missed, the hospital wing would be a much happier place to be.

| He had been about to catch the quaffle Orion hit towards him when a bludger from the nut job gryffindor beater got him full on the side of the head with a force that almost knocked him off his broom. Blaise managed to stay atop it but only just barely and he was knocked off course. Disoriented and close to seeing stars was not good in a match against the house of lions.
It took him a few to get a clear enough head to realize his nose was streaming blood, probably broken. He sneered at the red mess when he wiped the back of his arm across his face to clear some of it away. Bloody hell but that was a mean arse bludger. Draco had better start aiming at more than just Potter or Blaise would beat the blonde with his own bat.
When he was able to focus more on the game the dark skinned boy he the end of a dive after what he assumed was for the snitch by his team's seeker and growled his rage at the foul called by Hooch. Did the woman not hear the Weaselette shrieking profanities like a banshee just a moment before! Thankfully it seemed that the failings of her team members was getting to the she-weasel because she missed by a long shot and Blaise took his chance to grab the quaffle.
They may have only scored one goal so far, and blocked gryffindor's attempts, but the animosity growing was enough to get the adrenaline pumping harder through his veins. Their team was playing with a skill not seen in some time and he circled the stands with the other two chasers flanking him on each side, giving the fans below a show when he pushed his broom down and away from him while jumping over one of the chasers in red to land back on his broom on the other side of them.
The dark skinned wizard kept his eyes out for signs of bludgers, ignoring the blood from his nose as best he could and his ears open for the whistling sound of them passing the quaffle back and forth with the other chasers, skillfully keeping it out of the hands of the gryffindor team. Blaise was coming up on the goal posts fast, and one of the chasers had the quaffle. Nodding to each other he let the other boy take the lead, watching as circled the gryffindor goal posts and send the red ball sailing back towards Blaise who was already waiting to slide up in a fish tail on his broom to smack it towards the center hoop. |

| This was terrible. He hadn't felt this bad during a game since his very first one. Ron had never quite gotten over his issue of if he missed blocking one goal his full confidence was blown. He had handed the quaffle off to Gin, knowing if anyone could make up for his failed attempt it was her. On the inside he was beating himself up over missing that save when instead he should have been focusing in the game.
The crowd groaned almost altogether at once and Ron wasn't sure if it was because his sister's attempt to score had been blocked or because Harry had just taken a hard bludger from the ferret. Whichever it was the crowd roared back to life again when both team's seekers began a chase after the snitch. The slytherin seeker headed down in a dive even he had to admire while gryffindor's seeker hung back to watch. What in the name of Merlin's saggy balls was Harry playing at?!
The keeper could only groan again when Gin took the free shot and missed. If the game continued like this they were going to get slaughtered. Either him and the chasers needed to get back in the game or Harry needed to stop goggling his girlfriend and get the bloody snitch. Ron knew his chance was coming again when the slytherin chasers circled the stands and showed up one of gryffindor's chasers by jumping right over her.
The red head tried to ready himself and tried to get a grip on his nerves as the one with the ball flew straight behind the posts he was guarding circling them from behind. Ron realized at the last second what play was being set up and dived forward to try and block the quaffle before it reached the other chaser who would try and knock it in for a score. |

| Well. At least he wasn’t dating Skyler anymore. That meant he didn’t have to kill her for the dive she just pulled off. He told her never to try that again after that ridiculous try out she’d done, yet he had told them to win the damn game no matter what it took today. He couldn’t really yell at her for it from a captain’s stand point. He still could grit his teeth and send her a hard glare for the foolish behavior. One slight wrong move would have spelled disaster for her, and had that happened he would have worried at her bedside until she came to only to scream at her until he went horse. Good lord. Did these people not understand how to play a game without actually killing somebody?
His chaser, who was also a friend, took a hard hit from a bludger and Draco groaned. This game was getting out of hand. He just wanted to win so that Potter could choke on the Slytherin victory and he could actually have one thing over the pompous lion. It seemed that was too much to ask, as they were called for swearing despite the Weaselette’s crude mouth, and said girl took a free shot.
The blonde laughed so hard when she missed that he nearly fell off of his broom. She looked like she was about to make a suicide jump, and that just made him laugh more. Oh Merlin, this game was insane! Then the male Weasel actually managed to make a save and Draco growled, spotting a bludger and cracking at it with his bat as hard as he possibly could. He didn’t know if it would even manage to graze Potter’s ear, but he still aimed for the idiot captain.
Draco was fighting to keep his head straight and not give into the urge to scream at all of the players on the pitch. Oh, it made him so angry. Why couldn’t people just play the game and play it well? ”GET YOUR HEADS OUT OF YOUR ARSES AND GET IN THE DAMN GAME!” he screamed at his team, flying wildly over the pitch, not even sticking around to see what damage he did to the Scarred Wonder.

| Before she could actually jump toward the pitch and off herself, Ginny was distracted by the whooping from the Gryffindor crowd. Her brother had made a save! He was back in the game! She squealed her joy into the air, finally able to tear her eyes away from the hoop that her shot had just barely missed. She was obviously letting the pressure get to her, and it wasn’t going to end well if she didn’t shake it off. The girl took a fast lap around the pitch to clear her head, then fell back into formation with her other chasers, catching the quaffle near the Slytherin hoops.
She held her breath as a bludger zinged toward Harry, but let it out with a light laugh when it missed him. Good thing Malfoy seemed flustered now too. She was hopeful that Gryffindor might actually come back if she could just get a good shot in.
Screwing up her face in concentration, Ginny hovered between the three hoops, shifting her gaze from one to the next, then back, only to shoot her eyes to the farthest hoop just after. There was no way Rammellien could figure out which hoop she’d be aiming for until the quaffle took flight. With a silent wish to Gryffindor himself, Ginny let the ball soar for the hoop to her left, only to hear Malfoy give a mighty roar at his team.
Well, he was definitely worked up. She just hoped Harry was keeping his cool. Though after one bludger hitting him and another aimed at his head, she highly doubted that. The boys were going to kill each other today. And then she and Sky would have to put their bloody bodies back together. Ugh. Ginny hoped the snitch would flash again soon so one of the Seekers could end this before anyone died.

| Orion had narrowed his cold blue eyes, glaring harshly when the foul had been called for swearing on his team and the Weaselette who had roared out curse words was ignored for it. It was grating on his nerves just how biased even the adults around the school were against his house, but he smirked coldly when the red headed witch threw the quaffle so off that it wasn't in anger of making it through a hoop.
He threw the ball back into play, getting it to Blaise, who was covered in blood from taking a bludger to the dome, and watching from his end of the pitch as his teammates flew around the stands, showing off and getting the crowd roaring. Unfortunately, the Weasel decided that time to actually start playing and saved the goal, which had the Gryffindor chasers heading back down the pitch toward his end with the quaffle.
The Weaselette had the ball again, and narrowly missed a bludger a aloft had sent at Potter. If only their captain had been aiming for the she devil. The Slytherin captain picked the wrong moment to yell at his team because the quaffle was soaring through the air towards his hoops just when he did. Orion was glaring furiously as he growled and pulled his broom forward to try and snatch the ball before it made it through the hoop farthest for him.
It had been hard enough to tell which hoop she was aiming for before the ball left her hands, and Malfoy raging like a loon did not help things. The precision of this throw wasn't off by a centimeter and if he didn't get there in time to grab it out of the air Orion knew it would sail through the hoop for Gryffindor's first score. |

| Aimee whooped triumphantly when her aim proved to be true and Slytherin’s best chaser’s face was left far less pretty and far bloodier. Then she spun around, caught in the spectacle of the two seekers flying hard. Captain Potter seemed almost to admit defeat, something she had never seen happen before. Luckily, it was a fast, crafty snitch and it got away from the Slytherin seeker too. Maybe the next time it appeared Aimee could make good on her promise to rearrange Riddle’s face like she had Zabini’s and give Captain Potter a clear shot at it.
At that point Aimee took to guarding Captain Potter, as the Malfoy prat was looking exceptionally dangerous. As a result, she left each team’s lesser beater to guard the match as the chasers dueled ineffectively for several minutes. Then Malfoy finally got to another bludger, but it was too far away to intercept it.
Luckily, Harry was able to duck and avoid it just as the female Weasley scored to tie the match at ten. As the bludger went passed Captain Potter, Aimee lined it up, once again trying to prevent Zabini from taking possession of the quaffle. This time, with any luck she would catch him in the back of the head instead of the front. Maybe he would match all over before she knocked him out of the match. |

| Apparently his encouragement had done the opposite of encouraging, since Draco had just watched his Keeper fail to Keep and his Chaser get hit by yet another bludger. One more hit like that and he’d be out of the damn game and they’d have to forfeit to Potter’s lions. That simply could not happen. Oh, he’d just die if they lost by forfeit.
Draco flew to the bludger that had just hit Blaise, giving it a mighty whack back toward the fiery Gryffindor Beater who was fast becoming the new bane of his existence. She needed to be taken out of the damn air, and now. The bludger flew fast and strong, but Draco didn’t let himself wait around for it to hit. Instead, he flew toward the other bludger that he saw careening toward one of his other chasers.
Ugh. If they couldn’t get the hell out the way, he was going to hurt one of them himself. He was about ready to knock himself silly with his own bat, as he couldn’t reach the other bludger in time to hit it. At least it didn’t hit anymore of his teammates. This game. Was crap.
