| Curled up in her favorite comfy chair by the fire she read quietly as sunlight trickled in through the windows above her. Open on her lap was an old book of poems she had brought from her Dad's library of muggle books. It wasn't horrible and it was just what she needed to relax after a long day of classes.
The room around her was filled with a few people, most talking and laughing quietly with each other but she was happy and content to just sit and read. She was more comfortable with her books and her music anyway. It wasn't that she didn't like people it was just that they often didn't get her and she didn't understand them as well.
Flipping the book closed she pulled her legs up beside her in the oversized chair and closed her eyes dreaming of places far away, places she would travel once she got out of school and before she had to settle down and be serious about things.

| For once, Felicity actually dragged herself into the common room to read from Gray’s rather than sitting in the library and getting stared at there. A lot of the time she didn’t like to be in the common room with her medical books, because her own housemates had ways of making comments about them, even if they were mostly non-aggressive beings. It still stung to have the younger kids whisper about how ‘yucky’ the pictures were when they happened to walk by, or for her fellow older peers to mutter their opinions about muggle sciences.
It seemed even the muggleborns often found muggle ideas to be ‘behind the times,’ and it really frustrated the blonde. She thus was a bit hesitant to curl up on one of the many chairs around the fire, her aging tome heavy in her lap. It seemed to be a lucky evening, however, since only one other girl was over this way and she was one of the sweeter members of the year just below Felicity. She vaguely remembered the younger girl trying to keep tempers calmed when fights broke out, and found herself grinning at her.
It seemed she was in her own world, and the look of pure joy was enviable. Felicity was so intently studying the other girl that she lost her grip on the large book in her hands and it slid to the floor with a loud thump. The blonde winced, closing her eyes tightly and only opening one a crack to peer over at the girl she recalled being called Fallon. ”Oops. Sorry. I’m such a klutz…” she muttered, reaching for the book and stretching so far that she toppled face-first out of the chair. Her blush was absolutely scarlet, especially when she realized she’d probably just flashed her white cotton underwear at the whole room.
Felicity groaned, crawling back into the chair quickly and holding her book over her face. ”Did I say klutz? I meant completely graceless idiot. Please just kill me now.” Her voice was muffled by the book, but she was sure the embarrassment and desperation were pretty clear. How could she be this dysfunctional and still survive? Some ultimate creator had a horrible sense of humor.

| Fallon nearly shot out of her chair like a bolt of lightning when Felicity first dropped her book and then fell out of the chair after it. If there was anyone that was ever as much of a klutz as she was it was good old Fel. The girl was as kind hearted as she came but it was often taken advantage of by her housemates and classmates. Looking down at the girl as she picked herself up and crawled back in the chair she shook her head with a chuckle and a smile.
"Don't worry, at least everyone is awake now," she replied. Looking around everyone was already back to whatever they were doing before the tumble occured. "Doesn't look like anyone is rallying the troops so you should be fine. What ever were you lugging that huge thing around for? " she asked curiously, her amber eyes lighting up as she continued to watch the other girl. (sorry its so short, im running low on muse today) |

| OOC: No worries. I worry more about content than length, and that’s not lacking at all! Felicity had to grin back at the girl. She was just so sweet and the way she shrugged off Felicity’s terrible clumsiness was very kind. She didn’t even act like she’d done anything wrong at all. In fact, Fallon, as she remembered her name to be, actually seemed happy with her for waking people up. ”I guess you’re right. I should be alright unless someone starts coming at me with their wand raised. Then I’ll just make sure to keep this baby out of their line of fire.” She cuddled her book lovingly, sighing at the old worn smell of the pages. ”Why do I lug around Gray’s? Because it is the best piece of research ever written! It’s an encyclopedia of the human body. The best medical book in the whole world.”Felicity sighed happily as she held the book up for the younger girl to see. ”This. This is the holy bible of medical texts. It is my most valuable possession ever.” |

| Stretching slightly in the chair she rolled her shoulders trying to get comfortable again. Reaching back around she gave the older girl another smile. She really was one of the better people the school had to offer even if she was a bit slow on the uptake some times.
"Exactly and I doubt any of our housemates would ever stoop to such Slytherin like behavior. But even still you never know where or when you might meet a few bad apples disgusing themselves as good." she said with a serious nod. Too often had she met people who looked one way or acted one way but were too soon found out to be devilishly wicked.
Raising a brow at the girls description of the book she shook her head. "Is it really the best? I've never heard of it and I want to go into healing possibly after school." It was true, Fallon had often read muggle healing books and even wizarding healing books and it was not something she had ever come across in all her visits to the libraries. |

| Acelynn bounced through the entrance to the Hufflepuff common room, popping her gum as she did so. It wasn't often the red head didn't have a piece of gum in her mouth. The only exceptions were probably classes, because her professors apparently found it irritating. The puff couldn't help it. She had some kind of attention span like a goldfish, which made focusing on anything for more than ten seconds hard. Not to mention the naturally insane amount of energy she had made her sometimes look like a bludger bouncing off the walls.
She had found that chewing gum gave her something to focus that energy on and to calm down, therefore she was able to pass for quite a normal human being. Still a bit exuberant at times, but mostly normal. Aside from the fact that she did was also one third of a set of triplets, and the other two were actually crazier than she could ever hope to be. If Ace ever actually hoped to be crazy. Which she didn't.
Trotting over to the pair of girls who of course she knew. How could she not know them? Fallon was in her year, so they had only shared a dorm for the past five years. And Felicity had patched Ace up enough times that the red head couldn't count even if she had another pair of hands and feet. Accidents tended to happen a lot. The teen flipped over the back of a chair backwards, so that she was upside down on it and popped her gum again with a grin. "What's up Doc? You recruiting Fallon for a future nurse?" Ace questioned the older girl, grinning like mad. She had adopted the term Doc for Felicity years ago, and it just stuck.
To her year mate Ace advised good-naturedly, "Best Doc in the world right here Fallon. Always gives us children candy for being good while she patches us up." |

| Felicity was about to show Fallon some of the content of her trusty book when a familiar redhead bounced in and landed upside down in a nearby chair, giving her a friendly greeting that made her grin quite happily. The term ‘Doc’ had stuck with the Hufflepuff third of the McGregor sisters, and Felicity couldn’t say she disliked it. It made her feel good about herself, which was odd for her. Usually people just made her feel foolish for her love of all things medical.
”Well, she did just admit to maybe wanting to be a healer after school. But it seems she’s never read Gray’s. It’s just tragic!” she said with the huge grin still in place. It was so odd for Felicity to be with more than one person who actually enjoyed her company, and it was making her ridiculously happy. She let out a little giggle then, nodding along with Acelynn’s words. ”It’s true, but I usually like to give the candy to the younger patients. You McGregors are just a special kind of immature.”
She spoke jokingly, sticking her tongue out at the redheaded girl. ”How is Aimee’s wrist doing? Did she actually give it the proper time to heal before she started swinging that bat again?” The girls had taken to letting her patch them up when it was minor stuff since she asked less questions than Pomfrey and was just as skilled with the little things. Aimee, the Gryffindor with a bat fetish, had twisted her wrist about two weeks prior when she swung at a solid object that she had thought was much less solid. Felicity had a feeling the girl wasn’t going to listen to her on the healing time, so she’d purposely told her double. That way she might at least do a good half of what it needed.
The blonde grinned at the other Hufflepuff then, handing her the worn old muggle book. ”Here. Check out some of the diagrams. They are very visually stimulating if I do say so myself.”

| As Fallon settled back in her chair once more she heard the popping of a bubble, the tell tale sign that Ace had come bouncing in. Now that girl was a barrel of energy. Fallon had wondered years ago where it all came from and had given up trying to figure it out a long time ago. Fallon had also given up trying to keep up with her forever ago, no one had that much pure energy naturally except Ace.
Giving the girl a good natured smile she glanced back towards Felicity with a shake of her head, "Not yet but give her time before she graduates. I still don't know which direction I will go once I graduate. Too soon to tell you know."
Chuckling she listen to the both of them speak about how much Fel had patched the triplets up over the years. It was true, one of them was always getting hurt some how. Fallon couldn't chide them though, she had been a klutz herself growing up and thankfully it had gotten better as the years went on.
Leaning forward she took the book from Felicity with a raised brow, "Well lets just see about that shall we?" she responded, her amber eyes flashing as she did. Settling back she rested the book against her lap and cracked it open to start looking through the pages. |

| Ace snorted at the immature comment, which probably hadn't been her best idea considering she was upside down with a piece of wadded up gum in her mouth that had suddenly decided to get lodged in the back of her throat.
The teen made a sound that was some kind of mix of a gasp and a couch, trying t dislodge the ball of gum from her wind pipes as her eyes grew wide in surprise. The problem was that upside down, this only seemed to make it worse. Rolling over meant the red head was in some kind of awkward twist like position halfway between the chair she had been on and the floor.
Making a gagging noise, Acelynn gave an almighty cough and heave, and the piece of gum finally came dislodged, much to her relief. But her mouth had been wide open and the thing flew out like a rocket and landed with a slight thud to the book Felicity had handed Fallon and stuck to it. "That's unfortunate." The red head grumbled, flopping her back onto the floor, legs still up on the chair as she caught her breath.
After a quick moment the teen flashed the older of them a sheepish grin. "Erm...sorry? If it helps, I know a spell to remove the gum. I can't tell you how often that's happened with Myself's books. I'd be dead by now if I couldn't get every speck of gum from a book." Ace had been going for reassuring, but had ended up with a humorous grumble as she confessed that it did, indeed, happen quite often enough for her to actually need too learn a spell to clean up her mess.
"Now where did I that stick of magic anyways...' The teen wondered aloud, starting to pat herself down in a search for her wand. Absently, her mind recalled the question about Me's wrist and she decided to answer that while she searched herself for her own wand. "And Aim is probably not following doctor's orders. I mean, it's her batting hand ain't it? I don't think you could expect that really. Sometimes I think she only goes to you for the candy versus the actual healing..Aha!!"
Ace cut off abruptly with a whoop of triumph as she pulled her wand from under pant leg and out of her sock. "Don't remember putting you there..." She spoke to the stick, shrugging and attempting to get up. For anyone else, this could have been achieved without a flying chair being involved, but it was the red head, and so when she had gone to kick her legs out, forgetting the chair was there in the first place, the damn thing flew back and toppled over.
It might have been completely ok, if the chair hadn't been so close to the fire and caught on flame. Eyes going as wide as possible, the teen jumped to her feet and pulled the chair out of the fire, and aimed her wand at the flaming piece of furniture. "Augamenti!" She called out almost in a panic, and the end of her wand spouted water onto the flames, putting them out effectively. Ending the charm once the flames were completely put out, the Hufflepuff stood panting over the smoldering and soaked armchair. "Weeeeeell...don't see that everyday do ya?" |

| When the wad of chewing gum flew at her precious book and stuck with a sickening wet sound, Felicity let out a strangled gasp and stared at the book with wide eyes. She was utterly shocked. That was her favorite possession in the whole world, and it just got a piece of gum stuck to it! The blonde placed a hand on her chest and tried to control her breathing. It would be okay. This wasn’t the end of the world. It could be fixed. Somehow, it could be fixed.
She was nearly in tears by the time the bubbly girl explained that she’d done this before and removed many a wad from her Ravenclaw sister’s books to avoid many a beating. Felicity let out a great sigh, accepting that the loyal Keeper would fix her precious tome.
Laughter bubbled from her throat as she watched the girl search for her wand, and she shook her head at the news regarding the Gryffindor McGregor sister. Of course she wasn’t following orders. There was never a doubt in Felicity’s mind that Aimee would always fight tooth and nail against any orders to stop having as much fun as possible.
As the girl attempted to get up with her wand found, Felicity gasped again and her laughter died in her throat. Oh Merlin! The bloody chair was on fire! She screamed and jumped up to try and help the younger girl, but it seemed she had it all under control. Or at least as under control as she could.
Felicity looked over at Fallon and rolled her eyes, falling back into her chair with a great sigh. ”I don’t think I will ever get used to the McGregor triplets, in all honesty. I mean, I do love you to death, Ace, but really. You and your sisters are like walking, talking natural disasters. There’s only so much a girl can fix!”

| Chuckling again at the two girls she reached up and brushed her hair out of her eyes, it was just what she needed right now after a long day. Just as she was about to flip the book open Ace started to choke on her gum but before she could even move the girl got the piece dislodge and it flew straight at the book she held to her chest. On the plus side at least the flying gum hit the book and not her hair.
Leaning forward she looked at the girl cautiously, "Are you sure you are ok?" she said still watching her closely as she attempted to dig her wand out.
Thats not where the trouble ended, oh no.. next the chair she had landed in upside down was on fire and she froze watching it go up in flames. Things just seemed to keep going from bad to worse. "Jeez Ace, I better start making sure I sleep with one I open with your luck here lately." Fallon of course was only teasing, partially, the girl was about as prone to accidents as she was.
Shaking her head at Felicity she had to agree, "No, but at least we got Ace. Can you imagine if the three of them were together. The castle would never survive." |

| Acelynn tried to look some kind of insulted but the look was lost on a grin that was some mix of pride and cheeky agreement. The teen dug in her pants pocket for a new piece of gum, unwrapping it and sticking it in her mouth, half of the stick hanging past her lips as she deposited the wrapper into the fire. At which point it popped rather threateningly, making the red head duck out of the way of the sparks.
"Well boo to ya too then. Sassy ol fire, ya are." She remarked at the flames, mumbling around the stick of gum that she then sucked into her mouth with a loud slurping sound, her teeth immediately working on turning it into a ball as she stepped over the soggy armchair as if it wasn't even there. "Ya know ya both love me. Where else would ya get such great excitement? If ya ask me, the both of ya could use some more excitement. Always with the books. Those ain't much fun."
Ace commented back to the other pair of witches with a grin. It was relatively true. Every time she saw one or the other it was with a book. She just didn't understand it. Who the hell wanted to read a book when they were in a school of magic? Or in a castle? Or when there were soccer balls around? Ace would take soccer balls over books any day of the week.
Unfortunately, she knew both girls loved their books, and Felicity seemed especially attached to the one in Fallon's arms. Pointing her wand at the wad of gum stuck to the book in question, the teen remarked randomly, "Felicity, Fallon..I'm the odd man out. If my name started with an F we could be the three F bombs of Puffle house." Random Ace thoughts strikes again. Which meant half her brain wasn't paying attention to what she was doing and when she spoke the spell to remove the gum from the book it was a bit more forceful than she had meant it to be. The wad of gum flew off the book and got her right in the eye.
"Bloody sausages!!" The red head called out, hands immediately going to her face, the eye that got his closing and scrunching in pain as her fingers tried to pull the gum away. "Think we got a live one Doc. Bloody hell. Who knew chewing gum was so dangerous?" Ace was aware that it was only dangerous around her for some odd reason, though she really couldn't see why. |

| Felicity couldn’t hold back her laughter. It was truly something to think of the McGregor girls living in the same house. And yet, they did it every summer! ”Merlin, how do their parents survive the holidays?” she asked with a playful grin at the redhead. She laughed even more when the crazy girl started mocking the fire, then puffed her cheeks out in an attempt at an ‘offended look’ about the book comment.
All she looked like, though, was some sort of blowfish, and she let out the stream of air in a loud whoosh, sounding a bit like a rapidly deflating balloon. Felicity blinked at Ace. ”I don’t know if I should be offended or pleased with being called an F bomb. Fallon? Should we find it offensive or complimentary?” she asked, tilting her head at the other girl.
Her answer was cut short by the sudden swear about sausages, which had Felicity near giggles again but for the fact that she was needed medically. ”Oh, Acelynn. Calm down! I have no idea how you manage stuff like this, you know? I was even sitting right here and still have no idea how you just got a wad of bloody gum in your eye!” It wasn’t often that the blonde swore, but the McGregor girls had a way of bringing out her inner sailor. They were just so… accident prone. And then there were the times they were actually trying to get into trouble. Oh, Merlin.
The three redheads could manage to keep a whole hospital running on the money from treating their injuries alone. Felicity shook her head and swatted the girl’s hands away from her face, forcing her to lie down on the floor so that she could assess the damage. ”Oh, for Hufflepuff’s sake. You got the gum stuck to your lashes, you idiot. Hold still and do not touch.” With that, Felicity waved her wand in a swishy pattern and muttered something, taking away the stickiness of the gum. She summoned her medical kit then, and used a pair of forceps to peel the gum away from the girl’s eye, which was now rather bloodshot and irritated.
Felicity shook her head and muttered an aguamenti sal, creating a salt water rinse for the eye. Once that had been accomplished, she dried Acelynn off and pulled some gauze out of her bag, wrapping it at an angle so her sight wouldn’t be lost in both eyes while the one healed. ”Now let it actually rest overnight. No air and no foreign objects. Just keep it closed til tomorrow. Then you won’t have to worry about a puffy red eye that looks like you have some kind of disease.” ’And for now you look like a bloody pirate,’ she thought, but did not voice. Saying that aloud would only encourage more damage, and no one needed that.
”Fallon? I would definitely sleep with some kind of shield from now on if this is what she does when she isn’t even trying to cause any trouble,” she said with a giggle and a shake of her head. At least they could never say life was dull…
