Evangeline had always been one artistic girl. She knew how to sketch, sing, play the piano and dance. She had a love for poetry and theatre, thus, making herself a very, very talented and artistic child.
Her mother had always been proud of her, something that made Evangeline cry, knowing that she was making someone proud in that terrible family, but all her hopes were crushed when her mother died, and she had to live with the two people she hated the most. Her father and her brother. She never understood why her mother married that man, but she could only guess that things used to be different.
Deciding that she had completely neglected the memory of her mother, and what she had taught her, Eva made her way towards the Music Classroom. Her mother had taught her how to play the piano, and that was the only way to remind herself how much she loved her. Some music would also calm her nerves.
Walking in the Classroom, she smiled at the sight of the Grand Piano sitting in the middle of the room. She walked over to it with small steps, a big smile forming on her lips. She had missed this so much. She had missed her life before. And that was what she was trying to bring back. The memories of her peaceful life, when her mother was here, and everyone was loving. When everything was different.
She took a seat, and let her fingertips brush against the keys softly. The feeling of it was thrilling, and she felt her heart beat fast in her chest. Slowly, her fingers started pressing against the keys, the melody finally heard. Now all she had to do was close her eyes, and everything would be made better.
