Walking down from the castle Fallon's amber eyes lit up excitedly as she made her way towards the greenhouses. Herbology was her favorite thing to study besides potions and really the two went hand in hand. Tucking her book under her arm she continued to smile as she walked into the humid greenhouse narrowly missing some low hanging vines.

Sidestepping around them she made her way over to an empty table. Somehow she had beat everyone down to the greenhouses after breakfast but that was fine with her because it allowed her to choose her favorite seat by the window. Cracking open her book she flipped through the pages until she got to the chapter about Snargaluff's which sounded awful in her opinion.

Personally she thought they sounded a bit scary not that she would let on but it was better to learn about them here in a safe place than out on her own where something could go wrong. Sitting back she continued to flip through the pages waiting for the others to arrive.

Herbology. One of her worst subjects. It wasn't even that she didn't like it. On the contrary that blonde hufflepuff rather enjoyed plants and flowers and such. It was just the fact that she had no tact with them that hindered her in the subject. Observing them was one thing. Learning a few facts and such was alright. Taking care of them was not something Holly excelled at.

She lacked a green thumb, and her talents were clearly not in caring for plants. But she was still taking the class and barely scraping by as Professor Sprout often reminded her and so she trudged grumpily to the greenhouses towing her book bag along with her. It was humid in the dang things and the blonde huffed in annoyance. Humidity and curls did not work well together.

Seeing one of her housemates already there, Holly joined the girl and dropped her bag carelessly to the soiled ground reaching up with both hands to tie her hair up in a ponytail. Might as well get that taken care of since the mass of blonde curls would be frizzy as could be by the time class ended. "Hey Fallon. How goes it?"

Twirling her hair around her finger Fallon continued to read to herself quietly, trying to get a little bit head. If there was anything she feared it was embarrassing herself around her classmates. So far she was doing well on not being an absolute no it all like Granger, but still earning her enough favor with her professors to earn herself good marks.

So when Holly came in and sat down beside her she didn't even look up until she heard her name, and when she did she did so with a bit of a jump and shake of her head. Closing the book she gave the blonde girl a smile, "Hey Holly... It goes. Just another boring day. I wish that this was our last year so that we could finally get out into the world and start living but no such luck."

Closing the book she sat back pulling a silver ribbon off her wrist. Twisting it around her fingers she grabbed her hair pulling it back away from her face and securing it at the base of her neck. With the humidity it was already damp and by the end of the lesson it would be even worse.

"Are you all caught up on the reading or did you put it off again?" she asked her fellow Hufflepuff.

She returned her housemate's smile with her own, snorting slightly. "You and me both. Although I have no clue what I'm going to be doing once out there in the real world so.." Holly trailed off. If truth be told, the blonde would love to play professional Quidditch. But she was almost positive she lacked the proper talent for it. Her problem now was figuring out something else she was just as passionate about and wouldn't hate doing.

The hufflepuff reached down to grab her book from her bag, laying it out on the table before her and flipping to the right section from last week. "Oh right. We were supposed to read something weren't we?" She said with a shrug. Holly needed to pass the class but she seriously lacked the focus for it. "You know me too well Fallon. So what is it I skipped this time? Some flesh peeling pea plant?" The blonde teased lightly with a grin. Holly knew her friend enjoyed the subject a lot and wished that she could be as focused on her studies as the other girl. Unfortunately she just couldn't.
