| Draco Malfoy was not expecting to be the first Prefect to the compartment. He was definitely not expecting to be waltzing in without a scratch on his pale body. Thank Merlin for small favors. Of course, he wasn’t looking forward to his next trip home, but that couldn’t exactly be helped. For now, the blonde decided to look on the bright side of things. He was actually on time to the compartment, had made it to the train, and he was not dead yet. These were things to celebrate.
The Prefect meeting meant that he didn’t have to worry about spending extra time with Pansy and the goon squad, so that was another thing to be thankful for. He wasn’t sure what he was going to do about the overly clingy girl this year. She’d already sent him about a billion letters since his father was incarcerated and he’d been so fast to ditch her. Who was she to think she could throw herself at him when he had such important things going on at home? He was the man of the house now and she was just trying to get him to focus on snogging? That was utterly ridiculous. Draco simply did not have time for the childish pugface. At least, not until he had certain manly urges that he’d turn to her to take care of.
A smirk curled its way across his lips as the blonde eased into a dignified lounge of a position, his hands behind his head and legs outstretched, crossed at the ankles. He wore his badge proudly on his robes, already prepared for the arrival at the school. It wasn’t as if the boy was about to don muggle clothing anyway, so why not change early. It save him precious time.
When the compartment door opened, Draco didn’t even bother opening his eyes. Instead, he kept the smirk and simply stated “Nice of you to show up,” to whoever it was. He didn’t really care who decided to show. All of them were late in his opinion, because he’d beat them all there. “So what are the plans for this year? Anything extra special going on?”

| Most of the other kids seemed to have found their friends and settled in one of the many compartments on the train. This meant the way to the prefect carriage was relatively direct and simple. A couple of stragglers could still be seen and he thought it was a good idea to point the little firsties in the right direction. It was his job now. Riley had his prefect badge pinned to the front of his robes deeming his as one of those important older students to the younger ones. His handsome crooked grin still plastered on his face when he strode into the compartment to meet with all the other House Prefects.
His steps into the compartment faltered at the sight of Draco Malfoy sitting there as relaxed as can be. Riley's shoulders lifted and feel in a shrug to the other wizard's remark and questions. "Thought I would come early to check out the new female prefects." His tone suggested anticipation. He left the questions unanswered since he was made prefect this summer and really had no idea what they did in these meetings.
He turned his eyes from the form of the other wizard and for the first time got a real view of their compartment. He let out a low whistle. "The prefects really live it up don't they?" He muttered more to himself than anything. "I guess it's been magically enlarged." He added on taking a seat next to the window. Riley didn't have an desire to interact with Malfoy.
He didn't know the guy sure but he was sure he didn't want to. He was only a year younger than Malfoy and Potter and all their friends so he had been around to witness a few of the legendary fights between them. Riley liked neutrality and did well with it. There was more to gain from staying out of everyone's corners. He also had his mind racing with the earlier snog between Ginny Weasley and himself. |

| Bursting into the prefect carriage like there was a fire behind him came Ron Weasley. He had raced down the train after his abrupt exit from the compartment he had shared with Harry and Hermione and he had no wish to get caught by the witch in the absence of others. Ron had half expected to have to dodge and duck hexes cast at his back on his way but at the most he just had to avoid running into those few students who had not found somewhere to sit yet. He had left a fee stubbed toes and knocked over second years in his wake.
The red head now leaned against the door to the prefect compartment huffing and puffing after his wild run from Hermione. He continued to gain back his breath and realized he wasn't alone and far from the first one to arrive. He groaned outwardly when his eyes spotted the blonde hair that could only be attached to one Draco Malfoy. His day just got that much worse and his face screwed up in a attempt at a sneer that only succeeded in making him look constipated and his blue eyes bulged making his appearance that much more comical. "Malfoy." He spat in contempt a bit of spittle flying as Ron flushed in anger. Just the sight of the Slytherin prat was enough to put the red head in a volatile mood. He stomped over towards the window to better avoid the boy he considered and always would consider scum and took a seat huffily across from some other guy he had never met in his life. He only nodded to this boy not wanting to take his frustration on having to share close quarters with Malfoy on the other guy. |

| Hermione only saw flashes of red hair racing down the train while she followed at a slower pace. She mentally rolled her eyes at the idiotic red head who she held in fond regard. He had to know she would catch up to him eventually. The Gryffindor witch found herself having to help various students back to their feet as Ron seemed content to shove everyone he came across out of his way in his desire to out as much space between them as possible. She apologized for her fellow prefect and friend and followed his path of destruction to the prefect compartment.
The bushy haired witch entered with more decorum than her red headed companion and sent him a glare for all the trouble he caused. He really should know better by now, she thought in exasperation. "Malfoy." She greeted primly and stiffly trying to be as civil as one could be with the son of a death eater who had recently tried to murder you and your friends. The Gryffindor made her way towards Ron who was red either with anger or from his run up the train she didn't know.
Spotting the boy who she could tell was a Ravenclaw from his robes she smiled a friendly enough smile at him. "And you must be the new Ravenclaw prefect. I'm Hermione Granger and this is Ron." She introduced herself and the red faced boy next to her elbowing Ron in the side for his lack of manners. |

| The platform had been packed as usual with students both in their Hogwarts robes and not and their families getting ready to leave for another year at Hogwarts. Holly had only enough time to race through the platform and hop onto the train lugging her trunk with her before it left. Her parents had not accompanied her to the platform this year and she was thankful for this. The atmosphere was kind of stifling.
She had found a few of her friends in a compartment not too long after getting on the train and they helped her stuff her trunk in the luggage rack and then they all sat and filled each other in on things left out of letters exchanged over the summer. They had a good time talking and joking but all good things had to come to an end and Holly said goodbye to go to the prefects meeting. She didn't mind going but wished she had more time with her friends before performing her duties. Last year had been a hassle trying to juggle quidditch practices, studying and homework, and prefect duties but somehow she had managed it. Now this year she would have to repeat the process but she was more upbeat about it now that she had a years experience under her belt.
It had been quite a surprise when she had received her Quidditch captain badge this summer and had told her friends as much but they had reassured her she should be proud and deserved the position. Holly herself was excited about it but also nervous. She didn't want to lead Hufflepuff to defeat but she knew Potter was a shoo in for Gryffindor's captain and they were the toughest team to fly against these days. This would be one busy year for the blonde.
She entered the compartment quietly and noticed most of the prefects there though one she didn't recognize and three she did. She gave a small smile to Slytherin's own prefect and murmured a small, "Hello" to him. He might have been goodlookibg if he wasn't such a jerk but his personality left much to be desired. "Hi everyone!" She called bubbly to the rest in the compartment and chose a seat one over from straight across Malfoy. Judging by the distance between him and everyone else they all seemed to be giving him a wide berth. Funnily enough he looked right at home with his stretched out legs. "So who are we waiting for?" |

| The blonde sighed and stared at all the slowly arriving prefects. They were all so… drab. So blah. So lacking. He felt as though he was trapped in a cart full of idiots and he was the sole ring leader to this circus. Well, Granger at least had a brain. Too bad it was shrouded in such dirty bloody. Not to mention the terrible garden hedge she called hair. He sneered at the other inhabitants before leaning forward, moving his hands to his knees and unfolding his ankles as he did so. It seemed they all naturally allowed him to take the leader’s position, so why not.
“We still have my twat of a cousin, my new partner in duties, and… I believe that’s it.” Still leaning forward in a rather predatory manner, Draco stared at each of the other students. “Weasley, still an idiot. Granger, still too bloody worthless to have the brain you do. Jacobs, still easy to kick around the quidditch pitch.” He turned to the newest appointed prefect with a look of confused dislike. “Who the hell are you?”
It was odd for Draco not to know someone, but at the same time he was sure this boy was someone he’d at least seen around. Or he had heard about him. Or maybe hexed him. Yes, Draco was pretty sure he had hexed this kid after catching him trying to snog one of his snakes! “You are that stupid wannabe Casanova. How the hell did you get Prefect?” His voice was demanding and icy with the memory of the foolish Ravenclaw feeling one of his own up. This kid really shouldn’t have settled anywhere near Draco Malfoy. Alas, the meeting was soon to start. If the other students showed up he’d have to take the lead and give up his attempted murder of the idiot fifth year. For now.

| After the strange meeting with the Dark Lord, Silas had kept himself sepparated from his cousin. He had wandered the train, then gone to change into his school robes. Might as well get wear them now rather then have to put them on later. Again, he took his time as he made his way to the prefect compartment. Seeing that most of them were already there Silas was silent as he watched his cousin confront his fellow Ravenclaw. Taking a seat, he took note of the older preffects and glanced about looking for those who had just been appointed.
Rather then get pulled into an arguement or battle of wits witht he Slytherin yet unable to keep quiet, Silas arched his brow. In a bored tone of voice because to him it was a stupid question, he stated, "Probably the same way you did, cousin."
For the most part Silas didn't care as long as he and his fellow Ravenclaw could get along during shifts and such. It was an added bonus that he seemed to irritate Malfoy. Perhaps he should find a way to bribe or convince the others so that Draco and Riley were partnered. It would be fun to watch although that could spell disaster and it woulnd't do for them to lose points on personal grudges. Fun as the thought was though. |

| One by one the other prefects arrived. Some easily recognized and others not so easily recognized. You would have to be a complete idiot to not recognize Potter's two tails Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley. They were only seen with the boy-who-lived every second of the day and way word told it always involved in all his shenanigans. The three formed what was commonly referred to as the Gryffindor Golden Trio. Then you had the complete opposite, the Ice Prince of Slytherin himself Draco Malfoy. Word had it the bloke was as cold as his Hogwarts reference depicted him as.
It wasn't exactly popularity that made these names a common occurrence in any conversation but it was the legendary rivalry between Malfoy and Potter and their houses. Riley himself knew that unless a Professor was present there was most likely going to be fight breaking out between Malfoy and Weasley and he thought that might be entertaining.
His focus shifted with each newly arriving member and he didn't get a chance to answer Granger when he was being singled out by Malfoy. Riley didn't have enough self preservation in him to be afraid. He had already gotten his arse hexed by the bloke for messing with that Slytherin girl. When his fellow Ravenclaw spoke up for him Riley gave a nod of his head even as he spoke. "I would imagine he's right. I get good marks and like you pointed out Malfoy, the other students love me. Especially the witches."
His usual crooked grin slid onto his face and he winked at the blonde Hufflepuff witch as he said that last bit. Sure she was a year ahead of him but Riley didn't deprive the older witches of his attentions. He reverted his attention back to the Slytherin bloke. "Come on Malfoy you of all people aren't going to hold that against me. She came on to me first. I can't help the witch had good taste." It probably wasn't a great idea to bait the bloke but they were still waiting for one other to show so they had some time to waste. |

| Each prefect arrived one after another and Ron nodded to them all in greeting. He wasn't in any mood to talk to anyone despite Hermione's elbows. The tension within him was slowly building and he was as tightly strung as a guitar string. More than anything he hated Draco Malfoy and loathed having to try and remain civil with the git while in these meetings. The only reason he even attempted to stay civil was because of Hermione.
Then the stupid Slytherin had to go and open his big trap and Ron felt the damn breaking. "Shut it Malfoy, you git." He didn't care what Hermione said he would not spend another year dealing with the prat. His face was screwed up in anger but he didn't get to state anything else because Malfoy's cousin entered. Since when did Malfoy have a cousin? Other than Tonks?

| Hermione sent a small but friendly and open smile to each newly arriving prefect along with a nod of her head. By the time they got to Holly, the Hufflepuff girl who had been made prefect the previous year along with herself and Ron Hermione knew they were still waiting for a few more people to arrive before the meeting could get underway with Malfoy's help. She thought it very rude of the latecomers to keep them all waiting because they couldn't be on time to the meeting and thought about starting it without them just to teach them a lesson but knew Malfoy would never agree because it happened to be one of his snakes that was late.
The gryffindor witch pursed her lips at the slytherin's comments but otherwise made no show of hearing him. She had enough experience with Malfoy to know he just looked for a reaction and common sense told her that denying him a reaction was the surest form of disappointing him. Getting Ron to do the same even if just in the prefects meeting was never a complete success because he always lost his temper in the end.
When the Lestrange boy came in their sudden meeting in the Alley came rushing back to mind and Hermione as usual put two and two together quickly. She knew for a fact that Narcissa Malfoy only had two sisters one of which she didn't count. From the sister stemmed Tonks cousin to Draco Malfoy. The only other sibling Narcissa had was Bellatrix Lestrange and the only clear tie the Lestrange and Malfoy family had unless Hermione was mistaken. Meaning he had to be Bellatrix's son.
Harry would want to know about this but Hermione was no longer sure if she should tell Harry. After Sirius she wasn't sure how he would react to his godfather's killer's son being in school with them. She knew there was nothing he could do about the boy going to Hogwarts but the truth was Harry was scary when he was angry and when he was angry he would do stupid and rash things. That was usually where Hermione came in but she knew well enough that if Harry set his sights on hurting Bellatrix's son no one not even she could stop him. Normally this was the sort of thing she would go to Dumbledore with but with the newly formed pact between her Ron and Harry she wasn't sure that was such a great idea even if she didn't think it was a great idea to go against the Headmaster. This indecision chased itself in her mind and she listened to the continuing conversation with very little interest. |

| "Nice Malfoy. You're one to talk since Potter hands you your arse every year." It was about the only reactions she could give to them since everything he ever said seemed to be the same thing made up of different words. She ignored him in favor of scoping out the other prefects in the compartment.
Ron Weasley had a vile temper that Holly wouldn't touch with a ten foot poll. And his eating habits were widely known to be disgusting at best. Riley she knew was a ladies man and this was common knowledge too since he had snogged a few of her own friends. When he winked at her she laughed and winked back. If you can't beat them might as well join them.
Hermione Granger everyone knew to be the smartest witch probably to ever walk the halls of Hogwarts. The other Ravenclaw escaped her knowledge completely but caught her attention since he called Malfoy cousin. Judging from the other's looks they two had been unaware of the familial connection between the two. Except for Riley who seemed more concern with convincing Malfoy that whatever Slytherin girl he had messed with had come on to him. Holly had a hard time not laughing out loud. This was going to be one hell of a prefect meeting and they were still missing one. |

| Skyler didn't bother rushing. She was already late so a few more minutes couldn't hurt anything. It had absolutely nothing to do with the voice in her head that sounded alot like her grandmother saying ladies do not rush. It might have had more to do with the fact that there were a lot of students out in the aisle talking about a fight that had broken out. Skyler knew as a prefect she should investigate but it seemed it had been broken up so she headed on.
The brunette paused outside the door of the compartment she only knew was the prefect one because of the small sign stating prefects on it. She would be lying if she said she wasn't the least bit nervous but she wouldn't let her nerves get ahold of her. She straightened her back and lifted her head. Opening the door Skyler strutted in like she owned the place in the midst of what might have been an argument. Her purple eyes were bright as she let them wander over the other habitants and a smirk uncoiled slowly on her lips. "The party has arrived." |

| Draco was tempted to simply curse the whole lot of them, but he held himself back as the door opened once again. Finally, the new Slytherin prefect decided to grace them with her presence. His grey eyes locked on her violet ones, noting the odd color and deciding to ask her about it sometime when they were alone. For now, he had a meeting to conduct.
“Right. Now that we’re all here,” he started, clearing his throat and standing. “Duties. They’ll be done in pairs. By house. Granger will draw up a schedule of rounds.” He looked at the muggleborn with a raised brow, daring her to argue with him. They’d had a sort of unspoken agreement to take control, so he didn’t really feel bad at all in setting her tasks.
He looked around the cabin and stared pointedly at each of the prefects before speaking again. “Our position is one of great importance. You will all be responsible. No foolish docking of points or detention giving will be tolerated. Yes, that means even I won’t be allowed to give out undeserved punishments.” Here he glared at Weasley, then turned his attention to the bushy haired Gryffindor. “Granger will answer any questions, and I will deal with any discrepancies you might have.”
His gaze was intimidating. If any of them felt the need to complain, they’d best have a good reason. Draco was not looking forward to dealing with a whole year of whiny babies.

| Ignoring Weasley since the red head was obviously still holding a grudge against his cousin and if Silas allowed himself to get sucked into that then by default Potter would get involved as well. His smile/smirk did briefly appear at the Hufflepuff's barb. To be fair, Draco was a good Seeker. He had been able to fend Potter off and keep up with him during most of the games. And it was in a Slytherin's nature to cheat. They used any means to accomplish what they wanted. He was impressed when his cousin kept his cool, but knew that he shouldn't be surprised. Weasley and his insecurities were a bit trivial to what had been tasked of them.
His gaze locked onto the new Slytherin Prefect with disbelief and a bit of cold anger combined with curiosity. Why the bloody hell was the Yank here? Wasn't she supposed to have returned to America? And a she was a Prefect?! This year seemed like it was going to be challenging in more ways then one. Letting his gaze leave the girl, he shut them as he listened to the information being said. He'd pipe up only if he did have any questions or if it led him to a debate with Granger again. That had been fun and he hoped they could repeat the experience soon. As for being partnered by house, his eyes shot open as he thought about something and glanced at his cousin. He would take him aside later or send a note via a school owl. That might be best. A bit excessive, but just might be appropriate if they did have eyes on them at school. |

| The other prefects made their own comments to Malfoy and he was glad for that and even cut a grin at the blondie and smothering a snort at the same time. He wasn't scared of Malfoy but he didn't want the slytherin as an enemy. Being hexed once by the bloke was enough. He would never touch another slytherin girl again.
But Riley could always make an exception. Yes an exception could be made for the jewel eyed snake who entered then. The once over he gave her was habit and the low appreciating whistle that came from him he barely noticed. He sent her his best crooked smile and turned his attention back to Malfoy who was giving directions and Riley nodded to them even though he hadn't heard a word of it. He could always get the details from his fellow ravenclaw who looked like he was paying attention but also like he didn't like the new slytherin prefect. Riley wondered what wasn't to like.
His thoughts were lost in his earlier snog with the little ginger and what he thought her brother's reaction would be if he heard about it. It had been a good snog and he would look forward to doing it again if the little ginger wasn't so hopped up on Potter. |

| The other Slytherin prefect arrived and things got rolling. For his part Ron stewed in his anger quietly and tuned out the sound of Malfoy's voice. He didn't even look at the ferret git or he might be tempted to punch the git in the face. He knew Hermione would tell him what he needed to do and when. She always did whether he needed her to or he didn't. It was something Ron had gotten used to over the years.
Ron used the time to think about Harry and the newly reformed bond between then. Things were getting heavy fast and Ron got the feeling there was a lot Harry still hadn't told them. Ron knew one thing for sure and that was that Harry should know about this kid who was Malfoy's cousin. He wasn't bothered with connecting the dots himself because that was what Hermione was around for. The rest of the prefects held little interest to Ron and he paid them little mind just hoping the stupid meeting would be over with quick. He wondered if the lunch cart had been by already because he was starving. All this stress didn't seen good for his appetite. |

| "You're late." Hermione dead panned with a disapproving frown standing up to help conduct the meeting now that the new slytherin prefect had arrived. It was a sort of unspoken truce between her and Malfoy that they were the natural leaders in the group and they usually fared pretty well if she ignored his constant derogatory statements and barbs.
The Gryffindor witch nodded to show her approval and support in the direction Malfoy had taken and like usual added her two cents. "As Malfoy said this is a big responsibility so we expect everyone to behave appropriately and set a good example for the younger students. Promoting interhouse unity is a good place to start off. I've already taken the liberty of drawing up schedules for rounds," she paused long enough to hand these out, "and I know changes will be needed once Quidditch starts but we have a while until that happens. For those of you who will be playing I will need a training schedule from you no later than the end of this month. Any questions?" |

| That was quite the entrance the slytherin made and it didn't look like Hermione appreciated it all too much. Holly offered the newcomer a small smile not sure how she would be received but thinking it was always good to try. She listened to Malfoy and Hermione conduct the meeting and thought the two made a good team doing it. They were in sync and on the same page it seemed and that was a good thing because Holly could tell this group would reach disaster without some direction.
Holly caught Hermione's eye and she didn't want to say it in front of Malfoy knowing some cutting remark would be sent her way but not having any other option spoke quietly. "I'm captain this year so I'll get you a training schedule as soon as try outs are done." |

| Skyler allowed her eyes to wander the compartment to take in the faces of those present. Probably a good idea to get a good look at the people she would be working with. She notes she didn't know any of them and this was a let down for her. The blonde girl in the compartment did give her a small smile though and Skyler returned it with her own full blown grin, which faltered at the sudden whistle one of the boys gave along with his own grin. Skyler merely rolled her eyes and gave no other indication that she noticed the boy at all. One face did catch her attention though and that was the face of the boy from the Quidditch shop. She noted with satisfaction that he didn't seem please to see her at all, and used this to her advantage by sending a wide grin to him as she took a seat next to the blonde boy who stood.
Skyler listened to what he said a bit half heartedly. Why was she even here? It was the last thing she wanted to be doing. Wasting her time roaming the giant castle busting kids for breaking rules she would no doubt be breaking herself eventually. Nevertheless she met the boy's grey eyes with her own purple ones until the girl with the rather bushy brown hair stood and began her own lecture. Not without noting Skyler's lateness though.
Skyler didn't quite like the girl's tone or disapproving look. Who was she to disapprove of her? Skyler was fairly certain just based on first impressions that she would not like this girl very much. For her trouble though Skyler replied almost indifferently with a roll of her eyes. "I'm never late. You were just early." The tell tale signs of a smirk curled the side of her mouth as she took the offered schedule from the bushy haired girl. |

| Silas ignored the look he received from the Yank, his mind thinking along a few different tracks at the same time. He'd also ignored his fellow Ravenclaw's reaction. If he wanted to a go at the Yank that was his business. Especially with one whobtried to use an excuse that would only work for powerful influential wizards or the Queen. Which she was neither.
Glancing up at Granger he commented, "I believe our captain is Cho Chang. Either myself or Riley will give you the schedule when its made."
Silas wasn't sure if Riley was a quidditch player what with being busy chasing skirts. Knowing that because of the broom Bellatrix had given him, Silas was expected to join the team this year. Something that again was going to cause this year to be hectic. Making sure his face was blank, Silas kept his gaze on the Gryffindor as he questioned, "Interhouse unity would help if our fellow students saw their Prefects acting as such. So shouldn't we continuously be partnered with someone from a different house to make rounds?" |

| “I’ll have the Slytherin schedule to you before the week is out, Granger,” Draco commented. He vaguely wondered if anyone else in the compartment knew that he had been granted the position of captain. Well, they did now. He smirked at the other Slytherin when she put Granger in her place. That was good. He could definitely enjoy his time spent with this new girl. Hopefully he would spend quite a bit of it during rounds…
Damn his stupid cousin! Draco knew that the boy had good reason for wanting them to have a chance of doing round together, but he was ruining everything! All the one-on-one time Draco could have spent with the stunning girl with the purple eyes. He shot a glare at the Ravenclaw before clearing his throat and trying to convince himself to think and speak rationally.
“Yes, I suppose that would make sense, cousin,” he said icily. He looked at the Gryffindor girl and then stared at the schedule she’d handed him. “Shall we follow these schedules for now until you make a new set then?”

| Silas had been surprised at first then nearly laughed when he realized why the blond was upset. Hard pressed to keep his smile/smirk from appearing, he shook his head instead. His cousin as always was full of himself. Just as it always was, any way he could get under the Slytherin's skin was enjoyable. Rather then commenting, he briefly allowed his amusement to show before blanking his expression again. There were many reasons why Silas would appear to go along with this 'unity' thing that Granger cooked up. One was that it would give him a reason to speak with them or at least listen and find out where they stood. Although both of the Gryffindors' stances were quite clear to him.
The second was likely for the reason Draco thought that Silas was asking because of the task assigned to them. While that was partially it, the Ravenclaw was thinking of quite a different picture. If the blond wanted to suffer the Yank's company, well, the blond was a masochist.
"Well, now that that's settled, what else is on your Prefect schedule?" Silas couldn't help but wonder if that was the only thing discussed on the way to the school. If it was, what the bloody hell did the Prefects do the rest of the time aside from patroling the train every so often? |

| Granger handed at schedules to then all and like himself no one seemed surprised by this. He took the one she offered him and looked it over. Riley nodded to his fellow Ravenclaw's assessment about Cho being the captain and them getting Granger the practice schedule. Riley drew the line with agreeing with the other bloke there.
He looked at the other like he had never seen someone like him before. Riley didn't want to have to do rounds with Malfoy or Weasley especially not now but it could mean he got to do rounds with the new Slytherin and that might be pleasant. Riley let his shoulders rise and fall in a shrug because either way it wasn't up to him. |

| Her minor handed him his rounds schedule and he glanced at it with a look that was half resignation and half pain which made the look on his face comical. Ron had always hated doing rounds and he always whined about it until Hermione would threaten him with bodily harm and it was practically a tradition with them now.
Ron's face became even more comical when it screwed up somewhere between disgust and disbelief at Lestrange's idea. There was no bloody way in hell Ron would ever be doing rounds with Malfoy. Ever. He would kill the ferret before that happened and he would kill Lestrange for suggesting it. Ron's bad mood went from zero to sixty in a matter of seconds and his face was getting redder and redder like a bomb ready to go off and if Hermione agreed to this he would because there was no way in hell he would be doing anything together with Malfoy. |
